I noticed that the 45 by One G plus Three, ‘poquito soul’, the one you found is on Paramount. I have the one on Gordo, I believe that’s the original issue, right??
And there’s some misspelling of the title, my copy reads ‘PORQUITO’ not ‘poquito’ as your copy…

Reminded me of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels :D You can’t beat a 60′s track featuring a good stiff organ LOL.

Summertime is perhaps ‘almost’ one of my most favourite tracks melodically and lyrically. I particularly have a soft spot for the version you showcase by Billy Stewart for two reasons. Firstly I AM A MASSIVE FAN of Latin Soul, and secondly because he dared stray from the ballad timed versions that everyone else chugged out :)
