It’s always nice to get a quality re-edit to brighten up your day. While it’s a tough gig to make any Isaac Hayes production sound better than he did, UK producer Idle Minds takes you higher with his reworking of Hayes’ classic “Do Your Thing”. With a tweak on some guitars and vox, plus an underlying hip hop beat throughout, this version of Isaac is out of sight and dynamite in our book. A great track to end your year on, and for that matter, start it off with in 2015. Turn this up loud, add it to your New Year’s eve mix, and dance the night away.
