Well, we made it back in one piece from our camping trip. We stayed an extra day (it was much needed!), so it’s gonna be a short one today. Apparently you can find records in the woods, as illustrated in the photo above. It was great to do nothing except relax, hike, camp, and get a little bit of digging in. I did forget my portable, but made a valuable connection for a return digging trip in the upcoming weeks. 50+ untouched boxes of 45’s that were bought over this winter, and that nobody has gone through yet. I’d like to shout out some dear friends of ours, who run Squindo Dot Net, and showed my wife and I a great time. They do some great posters, paintings, and t-shirt graphics. So if you’re looking for some great designs, please feel free to contact them. Tell them I sent you. Their resume is quite long and with clients such as Metallica and other national acts, you will not be disappointed.

Although I was pretty much computer free the whole time (I kind of caved in the last day), I did manage to get a few scores (all of them Lp’s) in between hikes and making sure the fire didn’t burn out:

Joe Farrell – Canned Funk/ CTI
Elvin Jones – Time Capsule/ Vanguard
Soul Buttercups – Solid Soul/ Premier
The Unifics – Sittin at The Court of Love/ Kapp
Jimmy Smith – Respect/ Verve

See you Wednesday. Keep Diggin’!
