Since relocating to NYC, besides the fun times of alternate side parking, a constant dog shit obstacle course on the sidewalk, and the crazy Asian lady that rummages through my garbage cans, I’ve been excited to be able to be closer to some great DJ parties. Tomorrow night, The Nostalgia King himself, Skeme Richards brings his Tokyo Soul party to the LES, one week ahead of the Hot Peas and Butta 3rd Year Anniversary on May 7th. I love this spot. In fact, I DJ’d there when with DJ Bluewater at Master Groove parties. The atmosphere is killer, and so is the food. Pair this up with the rare 45’s and visuals, and you have one helluva a night. If you’re in driving, train or bus range, do yourself a favor, get out and support. Maybe you’ll even run into me. Keep Diggin’!
