I meant to post this yesterday, but got sidetracked. One of NYC’s best bands, The Menahan Street Band, gives you a free download of their song “The Crossing” off of the forthcoming LP of the same name on Dunham/Daptone due out on October 31st. This record has been described, and it’s quite fitting, as: “music to an unreleased Sergio Leone western starring the Wu Tang set in 1992.” Once you hear the strings you will agree. These guys have been turning heads for quite a while. We can’t wait for the full length to come out. Stay tuned.
