Another week, some more great promotion for the latest Antibalas record. Fresh off last week’s airing of their Tiny Desk concert over at NPR, Antibalas teamed up with Daptone Records and director Philip Di Fiore back in August to perform a new track “Dirty Money’ of their new record Antibalas (Daptone). The back patio of the Daptone Studios in Bushwick, Brooklyn turned red hot that day as the band put in another great performance in this intimate space. At one point in the video, singer Duke Amayo talks about “this space not being around much longer”. Say it ain’t so, we love The House of Soul! I hope they’re just talking about the performance space, not the entire studio (which is legendary). At any rate, enjoy this top notch Afro-Beat band doing what they do best.
