Our man in Luxembourg Mike Zwyer aka This Is Tomorrow has dropped a new original project entitled Time and Space. This is just what we need for a snow filled Friday. Mike has been DJing since 2005 throughout Europe and the UK and is an accomplished drummer and beatmaker. His compositions lean towards moody, atmospheric beats that slowly wrap themselves around your ears and seep into your senses. If you’re a fan of nicely chopped drums combined with a variety of oddball space and Jazz samples, you will love this new effort from Mike. Perfect for a day like this.

Here’s a description of the project in Mike’s own words:

“This is a collection of tracks i recorded between 2003-2007. Although some labels were interested, the album was never released, mainly because it’s composed of samples only. All samples taken from original vinyl, sequenced in my Akai MPC2000xl and recorded in Pro-Tools. No synths, no Ableton, just a sampler and a record collection…
Heavily influenced by DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, DJ Food and some herbs……”
