Hoping all you people had a great holiday yesterday. Today, it’s back to business. No Black Friday, just business as usual. We are really excited, as we have teamed up with hip hop historian Brian Coleman for a special event over at the Ace Hotel in NYC. It’s a Check The Technique Vol. 2 Book Party, with Flea Market Funk and Brian Coleman manning the decks from 8pm until 2am. We will be spinning a lot of the artists who are featured in his Check The Technique book series, as well as assorted funky treats throughout the evening. There will be books for sale, and you never know who might show up to support, these books go deep. This is the first book event for this release, so if you are in NYC tonight and want to support a great event at a dope spot, this is for you. It’s FREE, so there’s no excuse. It is an all ages event and open to the public. The Ace fills up quick, so stop on down and get your Golden Age hip hop on all night. See you at the Ace.
