This week we have one of the hardest working drummer/ record label guys around, Jukka Sarapaa from the excellent band The Soul Investigators Timmion Records. Timmion Records has been putting out quality Funk and Soul vinyl releases for quite some time. Based out of Finland, when Jukka isn’t on the skins with the Soul Investigators, backing artists like Nicole Willisor Myron and E. among others, and being a member of being a High Society Brothers, he is busy cutting vinyl and running one of the coolest labels around. Another guy who is keeping the tradition of releasing music like they used to (and recording it in the same manner), Jukka also has some great records in his collection to boot. The Soul Investigators are known all over the world, and have recently landed (along with Nicole Willis) on President Obama’s White house music playlist. Pretty soon your granny will be asking if she can cop that Soul Investigators record from you. We’re happy to have him aboard this week.
