Dirty 45 Tee

This just in from the Durty 45 crew. For those who aren’t in the know, you can check them out here. Here’s a bit of their bio:

“Who are we? We are a sound system collective of artists, Djs, musicians, and revolutionaries. We are essentially a group of friends who feel that a massive change in society is required, a Social Revolution!

Our passion for music, people and sound system culture has taken us everywhere; from clubs, skateparks and live music venues to carnivals and festivals.

Starting in our community, our objective is to educate through culture, creativity, and social responsibility to show what is attainable through nonviolent direct action.

”We who in engage in nonviolent direct action are not the creators of tension. We merely bring to the surface the hidden tension that is already alive.” Martin Luther King. Jr

By encouraging other communities to do the same we can mobilise the people. We hope to create massive social change on a global scale. It’s up to the creative few, who think differently, to show that the world is for everyone, of all nations, languages, colour and beliefs.

We are armed with a set of attitudes opposed to the prevailing political culture. We believe in the reformation of personal identity, freedom of speech, music and arts, fashion, science, alternative technology, environmentalism, religious beliefs and decentralised media.

No, because that’s where people buy their books. We’re not interested in preaching to just the converted. With the right vibe, decor, sound and 24 hour party people there is nothing better than the feeling of putting together a fantastic event. Especially when involved in raising money and awareness for people less fortunate than ourselves.

“The much anticipated Durty 45 tees featuring designs by top Southsea artists has arrived. First up is ‘VIVA DURTY 45′ tee designed by Tristan Savage of Strong Island.

The series of tees are for the Durty 45 Bus to raise money for No More Durty Water. Durty 45 Bus appearing at festivals, and VW shows this summer, starting with Camper Jam.

They will go on sale at Durty 45 – No More Durty Water Fundraiser on Friday April 1st at Little Johnny Russells.
They will be selling them for introduction price of only £10 on the night. So yourself there to grap one, before they are gone.
