It’s Friday already, and after the good time we all had over at The Ace Hotel in NYC last week, I’m getting ready to do it all again. Shout out to all the people who swung through from NYC and came up from Jersey to check the scene out. This week I have more Tasty Beats and I hear that some of the Hot Peas and Butta and AP 45 Session Crew is gonna be coming through, so it’s always fun to hang with them. What I can promise tonight is this: Good music to nod ya head to (no dancing in the lobby but I won’t tell if you do!). I packed up some Tony Allen as well as a slew of dirty Funk and since my man is swinging by from Philly, some Philly Hip Hop as well. The usual Deep Funk, Soul, Breaks, Real Reggae and Classic Hip Hop throughout the night. Come early for the burger at the Breslin, stay late for the music and vibe. Music starts at 8PM til late.
