Flea Market Funk x Funky 16 Corners: Pledge Drive Mix

My main man Larry Grogan from the world famous Funky 16 Corners site has a pledge drive going on. If you have not been a regular visitor of the F16, then Soul brothers and sisters you are missing what the JB’s would call a “funky good time”. Not only has he gathered up a bunch of great diggers and DJs this year for his All Nighter/ Pledge drive, I’m happy to report that FMF is contributing an exclusive mix to help promote not just the music, but keep the site going. You see, sites like ours are not for profit, and bandwidth costs money. We preserve the music, dig for the records, and then share. It’s nice if all our readers can show their appreciation by donating a few duckets to help the cause keep diggin’. Larry is on his 8th year, I’m on my 5th, and we love what we do. We count on our readers, like NPR listeners to help support. We all appreciate what ever you can donate. Please follow this link to read more about it as well as check out more great mixes.

I chose to go with a Reggae vibe this mix. I have been uncovering some amazing JA records, so let the fiyah buuuuuurn ‘pon the internets. I hope you enjoy listening to this mix as much as I enjoyed making it. Hotter Fire!
