This week again we have another heavyweight in Big Ups. If you’ve bought a record from Jazzman Gerald’s stable of record labels, then you have indirectly dealt with Mr. Euan Fryer. Running the Soul 7, Fryer’s and Soul Spectrum labels, this is a man who helps unearth and then preserve some of the best Funk, Soul, Modern and Disco that can be found. He’s a busy guy, and this interview has definitely been worth the wait. Based in Edinburgh, Fryer is synonymous with good music and putting out even better records.
