Summertime means Summer edits, and the first one to roll through is a Bill Withers Disco edit of, “Lovely Day”. This time, Righteous Trash does his best to preserve the original while throwing a bit of his signature sound into the track. With some Disco heavy drums that go, ahem, lovely with the bass line (how can you mess with that?), RT puts a spin on the Withers classic. I like that he didn’t go too over the top with his take on it, the song is damn near perfect, and you don’t want to mess with perfection. This track will be featured on an upcoming mix, chock full of Righteous Trash edits called The Leisure Suite. Keep your eyes and ears out for that.

Great remix of a classic, reminds of driving to my grandma’s house in my dads old Chevy,
