As Thanksgiving week comes to a close, I just wanted to give a shout out to all of the FleaMarket Funk readers old and new. For those who have been here from the very first post (Brother Jack McDuff) to the latest from CRuNCH 22, we are honored that you’d take the time out of your busy day to read what we are writing. What started out as a passion project to highlight records we found int he field and the characters who sold them to us has turned into something I could never have dreamed of. I’ve been able to build up a global network of really great collectors, DJs, artists, record labels, clothing companies, a radio show, and the like. The FleaMarket Funk community has grown larger than I could have ever imagined and I wanted to give a huge, heart felt ‘THANK YOU!’ to everyone that gets in contact with projects, gigs, is in a band, presses vinyl, or just wants to rap about music. This place has changed my life for the better, and it’s the faithful that come back day after day here and in our social media that keep it going strong. We are extremely thankful for that. To my peers that always push me to dig deeper and keep doing different things, thanks for always giving support and putting me in my place when necessary. I look up to all of you and am humbled and honored to be on your level. With that said, enjoy your weekend, and we are going to just keep diggin’ like we always do. Thank You, you all know who you are. Cheers.
