It’s always an honor to be asked to do a mix for people you respect. At the end of it, I am just a dude who loves music and followed his passion to make it a career. A career that is rewarding, but as my brothers and sisters in this game are well aware of, is a struggle. Success for me, has never been measured by monetary gain (but it helps when you get paid for doing what you love), and what I love so much about DJing are the relationships you make with people as you go along from city to city, the long lasting friendships, collaborations and of course the massive amount of music you learn about every day from people you work with, respect, and meet. I not only have the utmost respect for Junior and the Record Breakin’ crew, but am inspired at the wide spectrum of music they put out. On this particular mix, I wanted to step outside my box a bit and put together an hour of music I really dig, but don’t always get to spin out as much as I’d like. I recorded the mix in my Greenville Studios in Jersey City all live and in one take. Go to the link below to listen to it, and if you are feeling it, please pass it on to a friend. Thanks to Record Breakin’ for the opportunity to share my passion with the world, looking forward to hanging when I bring my records to Philadelphia to play live soon. Cheers.
