4/20 Mix Alert: Ride The Rhythm

Today we have a new mix alert and it’s straight from Jamaica.   With much respect to artist Wilfred Luminous and to reggae music itself, I bring to you: Ride The Rhythm, An All 45 Mix. These nineteen seven inch records were put together for you to play not just on 4/20, but every day. Reggae music is definitely an every day thing, and I’ve included some classic selections you may be familiar with as well as some sides you may not. These are cuts I have really been digging as of late. There are a lot of classic records, and in general, reggae tunes that hold a special place in my heart. So do your thing with this mix on 4/20, or pack it up for whenever you want to to visit JA and get into that state of mind. Special shout out to Record City Brooklyn & Holdfast Asbury Park for keeping my reggae fix properly satisfied. If you dig, pass it on to a friend. Bless Up.
