We were a little late to the party on this one when it first came out, but even though it’s SOLD OUT, we’d be remiss if we didn’t give Italian funk/ psych explosion Calibro 35 some props on their cover of the Beastie Boy classic. If you’re not familiar with this band, they makes music for crime movies and detective series, as well as rocking stages and moving butts all over the place. Their version “Sabataggio” is damn near perfect. Fuzzy guitars and heavy drums usher in some guitar madness and the tune is off and running in no time. Probably one of the best covers of the Beasties we have heard. Check out the instrumental track below, and then the track mixed with the original vocals as well. Pure gold.
