Here’s a real treat for all you New Yorkers. On Thursday June 20th, the very talented crew from I Love Vinyl are presenting a special party at The Brooklyn Museum. Named LP48, to celebrate the first LP (long playing) record released in June of 1948, this all vinyl dance party will feature the I Love Vinyl DJs spinning wax from 7-10pm in the Glass Pavillion at the museum. Sound Liberation Front will be providing the sound via their incredible “Tower Of Sound” custom-built high-fidelity sound system, so you know the sound will be on point. There will also be a Mini Record Fair with vendors curated by I Love Vinyl, including Turntable Lab, Brooklyn Bowl’s Collect-I-Bowl, and Brooklyn Flea.
