GZA Battle Scene Prints

Well, it’s Monday after Record Store day 2014, and if you have or haven’t recovered from standing in line, grabbing some great exclusive RSD vinyl or the Dewar’s fueled Dust & Grooves party here in Brooklyn, the vinyl still spins. The good folks at Get On Down are still busy offering up some of the most unique products you are ever going to get your hands on. They took a cue from M.O.P. and said to all the other labels: “ANTE UP!” They’ve upped their already on point game once again, now adding gallery quality screen prints to their growing catalog of specialty music items. How about unique, resin finished wood blocks? That’s right, as an expansion and definite elevation of the wood blocks that were introduced on the Ghostface Killah’s 12 Reasons To Die package from last April. This time, the art is based on the GZA’s iconic battle scenes artwork that came with the original 1995 Liquid Swords album from 1995. Printed by AntiDesigns, the GZA 18-inch x 18-inch “Battle Scene” wood block print has a deluxe resin finish by Josh Falk. His unique finish add beautiful texture and gives htem an almost glass covered frame look. Unique indeed. These babies are hand numbered and limited to 100 pieces..super rare and super limited.

Also available are the Liquid Swords Instrumentals, a 2 LP set available for the first time on black and white viny, restored and remastered from GZA 2-LP Liquid Swords Instrumentals, with custom silk-screened jackets by AntiDesigns. One white vinyl, one black vinyl. Limited to 1,000. The full Liquid Swords instrumentals are available for the first time on white and black vinyl, as a nod to the chess board art synonymous with the classic album’s cover. All tracks have been restored with re-mastered audio from the original source tapes. There’s even more goodness available with the GZA 18-inch x 18-inch “Battle Scene” (print by AntiDesigns), hand pulled silk screen on high end, acid free, rag paper with a deckled edge.
