Hot damn ho here we go again! Tucker & Bloom is just moving things along lovely once again. After a hugely successful Welcome to New Orleans mix, they follow it up with some heat from DJ/ record dealer/ major digger Brian Poust, aka Agent 45. Brian has been on the vinyl scene for quite some time, and has made a niche for himself in Hotlanta. He is, really, the go to guy there for lava rock records of all kind. Recently, he had a nice batch of psych records up for sale, and if you’re looking for quality vinyl of the funk, soul, or jazz genre, he has you covered there as well. Music historian, DJ, and solid guy, Brian talks the talk and walks the walk. This second mix in a series of Welcome To mixes from Tucker & Bloom highlights the often overlooked 1970’s funk and boogie funk records from this music rich city. With sides out of influential studios run by Calvin Arnold and Haywood Tucker, legendary arrangements from Tommy Stewart, and some slick sounds blasting from powerhouse radio station WIGO, this unique mix begs you to get moving. Another winner out of the Tucker & Bloom camp, and a scorcher from Agent 45 once again.
