Flea Market Funk x Check The Technique Book Party

We are teaming up with author Brian Coleman of Check The Technique book series for a special night of music to celebrate the release of Check The Technique Vol. 2. The event will take place at The Ace Hotel in New York City, and will highlight the over 60 artists featured in both books of the series. Flea Market Funk (DJ Prestige) will be behind the decks all night laying down a Golden Age vibe and Brian Coleman himself will be spinning a guest set during the evening. Brian has some deep crates, so this will be a treat for everyone. The event will take place

from 8pm until 2am, so it’s a laid back night and no pressure to just roll through and hang out when you want. It’s also a FREE event, so there is no excuse to not drop in if you’re in the area. Brian will have books for sale and he will even sign one for you if you’d like. If you are a fan of the quality hip hop and are a liner notes junkie like we are, then this is a chance to hear some great music, as well as get a copy of this incredible book.
