Record Day has come and gone and we all survived it. You know how? We just keep buying records all the time. That being said, the 9th episode of Live From Greenville Studios is here. In an hour and a half, we lay down some recent finds as well as some classics and new material. We travel from Africa to Japan, back to the United States and then over to Jamaica to keep the show bubbling with hot vinyl. There are new tracks from Grace Love & The True Loves, Yoshi Blessed, some funky organ jazz from Johnny Hammond, seven inch hip hop exclusives, as well as some compiled African funk, latin, and dusty 45s we just had to share. There’s some good stories involving RSD and we speak on some past digging adventures on the breaks, so enjoy the banter as well as the music. LFGS is recorded at the FleaMarket Funk lab in Jersey City, NJ. If you dig what you hear, please tell a friend.
