Here’s another one from the vaults. This particular set is from 11.23.07 Asbury Park 45 Sessions in Asbury Park, NJ. Our special guest that night was Devil Dick aka Tommy Southard from the stoner rock band Solace, Godspeed, etc. Dude is a huge funk & soul collector and brought down the house with his fuzzy funk set. Along with Larry Grogan from Funky 16 Corners, Connie T. Empress, Bluewater, and Prime Mundo, we all had a funky good time. Here is my set, with a funny introduction from Bob Shannon from WCBS FM. He emceed a few of the Sessions and we happened to catch him on tape for this one.
