When we get something from Philadelphia’s Lil’ Dave, be it his podcast (Excellent Reception), or a mix like this one today, entitled Hazy, we feel it is our duty to share it with the masses. Lil’ Dave, 20 years strong on the Philly airwaves, part of the Illvibe collective, and one hell of a selector, just gets it. He gets good music. Whether it’s from this era, decades past, or a combination of both, he just gets it.

Extra bonus points for the video game sounds and echoes throughout as well as the trippy “Whole Lotta Love” cover. This is some ill shit, and Lil’ Dave is definitely an ill dude on the turntables. Look for him repping Philadelphia and in a city near you. Philly stand up!
