And just like that, Madison, Wisconsin’s Naanva drops a B-Boy friendly, heavy drum filled track from his debut LP. The single, “Flowers of Spring” is a jazzy, up tempo rocker that will satisfy the instrumental hip hop heads that like their drums hard, as well as the dancers who want to get down to break friendly tracks that are conducive to moving your feet. Naanva has a variety of tracks that include some down tempo, ambient sides such as “Whereabouts”, or the atmospheric “So Long At Sea”, an electronic, heady jam that starts slow and builds into a dance floor friendly, late night track. He gets into some video as well, with “Colorado”, which uses his track “Puddle At The Mirage” over some very interesting visuals. Like we said earlier, this track has plenty drums, drums for days. The injection of the jazzy horns gives it some flavor that will most definitely have them moving. This track is indeed different from the few other tracks he has got on his page. There is definitely some range in Naava’s work, and we are seeing it here with this side, which you can get for free below. Have a listen and then download the track as well. If you dig, pass it on to a friend. You should be digging deeper anyway!
