The Summer is not over, despite it being almost September, and Liquid Beat is coming in hot with this new remix of “Superwoman” from R & B singer Blossom and producer HOT16. This version is done one inna dancehall style, as they’ve added guest vocals from an up and coming Jamaican artist Alexx A-Game, with an instrumental version on the flip. Blossom has returned to her Trini roots on this remix and selectors will be well pleased at the feel of this record. It makes you feel like Summer whenever you play it. Many have tried to rework their original tracks into a dancehall record and failed. Fortunately for DJs and listeners, this record was done proper and you’ve got a sizzling platter of a 45 to serve up for the dance floor. Well done from every angle. If you haven’t been following this label, who’s been doing big tings that bubble right under the mainstream radar for a minute now, then you’re doing yourself a disservice record collectors and 45 slingers! With yet another dope record in their discography, their stock once again rises to the top of the indie record game.
