Best of 2018: The Funk Forty Fives

Another year down, and so much good music has come through the studios here at Flea Market Funk. First of all, we want to thank all of the artists that made such great music and for getting it out to the masses around the world. We know it’s not easy, ask anyone trying to press a record up these days, record plants are backed up like they never have been before. Secondly, we have a list of our faves from 2018. These records are in no particular order, but the criteria for making this list was that it was released in 2018, it was funky, it had to be put out on a 45. There are a ton of records that came out, we tried to cover as much as we could. So that being said, here are our top funk 45s we covered this year on the site. Most are still available, but there’s a few you’ll have to open up your wallet on Discogs and grab. Thanks for the support, and bring on the new funk in 2019! Cheers.
