This is how a Sunday should be: playing records with new + old friends, drinking some beers, chatting about said records, and well, broadcasting all over the world. Yesterday we had the distinct pleasure of being a guest on the esteemed Kurtis Powers’ Rendezvous radio show on The Face Radio/ Totally Wired Radio in their Brooklyn studios. It was a pleasure to actually meet Kurtis face to face (pun intended), get turned on to a few new records, and be able to speak about the world of Flea Market Funk. I brought a mixed bag of 45s to rock, highlighting some of my favorite records that are out right at this moment, early June of 2019. Look out for a Face Radio/ Flea Market Funk collaboration up and coming very soon. Thanks to The Face Radio/ Totally Wired Radio and of course to host Kurtis Powers for having the Flea Market Funk train roll through.

Dig Deeper!
It was nice chatting with you yesterday even if indirectly through Kurtis. I think I found him a more DJ friendly option last night that has a licensing arrangement. Enjoyed the show and relistened to the section marred by distortion.
Thank You for tuning in and for the great tip. I was gutted they copyrighted us!
