It’s Friday, and you know, it’s time to get up, get into it, and get involved. It’s time top let loose on Friday night, Saturday night, and then recover for the start of the week. What better way to do that then with the new remix by Jacques Renault of The Pendletons “Keep It Working”? This is really a track that besides making you dance until you can not move your feet anymore, is a track that is a positive, uplifting experience. It’s honestly got more feels than anything hitting right now. That’s why we re feeling it this Friday. That slap bass will slap you straight across your face and ass for starters. However, there is more: a boogie down beat with some slick guitar work and synth action that pulls it all together for once and all. But you know there is more, it features Miss Gizelle Smith, who along with The Pendletons are working just as hard as they say in the track. Constantly moving, constantly evolving, and constantly churning out consistently good tracks. It’s not easy at all, but this collabo makes it seem so easy. Seamlessly this group of very talented musicians knows the secret recipe to keep the music working (and themselves working) on dance floors and stages all over the world. It’s just digital for now, but perhaps we can get them (cough, cough fellas) to get this on vinyl sometime soon. We need this thing on wax, so, just saying, it’s that sweet of a track. Listen to both the vocal and instrumental below. See you on the floor!
