After a bit of a hiatus, our Instagram page Funky Little Boxes has returned! When we first started off, Skeme Richards and I decided it would be fun to highlight our own boxes as well as other collectors’ boxes. We got some great submissions, but as we got busier, the page sat stagnant for a while. A lot has happened in the seven-inch game and since we started it in 2014, there are a bunch of new 45 rpm enthusiasts who are eager to show off their record boxes. We’ve brought the super collector/ vinyl record aficionado Double Peas aka Paola Puente on board to help us along with this project. She’s got one of the best collections of seven-inch boxes around and comes with deep knowledge of this record and forty-five game.
