Lisa Decker & Nautilus – Everytime (Pat Van Dyke Remix feat. John Robinson)

Well, here we are again with the always-on-point DJ Oonops from Brooklyn Radio fame, and lo! and behold! Oonops has a new record label with some pretty dope releases, edits, and the like. Today we’re going to visit this particular forty-five that has some of our favorite people from the East Coast, Japan, and more. Let’s get into this Lisa Decker & Nautilus seven inch, “Everytime”.

Oonops brings on board this funky monorail our pal (and sometimes FMF collaborator, we gotta do some more shows!) multi-instrumentalist composer, and producer PVD aka Pat Van Dyke and another top billin’ human being John “Sci” Robinson, multi-talented lyricist, producer, educator, and all-around hip hop maestro. The two proceed to give you what you need and take this track to new heights. PVD pumps up the baseline and beefs up the bpms and adds some far out horns to bring the boom bap drums of the original to a housey, dance floor, move your body single. It’s great to see PVD and Robinson back at it again, highlighting Decker’s siren song ang pushing this thing to a ’90’s groove. See and hear fantastic keyboard work and additional vocals by Robinson that just smoke. Listen to both versions of the track below (original and remix) and support all of these artists by buying this record after the stream. This is, and mark our words, a summer anthem for those who have the record and know how and when to use it. Great work all around from these players.
