If you’ve been following us for a while, you may have remembered our review of Girl With Robot Flowers from The Greg Foat Group. Since then, they have been the resident in house band over at The Playboy Club in Mayfair, London. This straight to analog tape recording of the band is an illustration of what atmosphere you’d hear were you present. This is the first live album recorded at The Playboy Club in over 40 years, and the band do a bang up job of keeping your ears awash with aural pleasure. Rolling through library, tonal and free jazz, this recording sounds like a perfect night out with your better half if you ask us. Top notch! Available through Jazzman Records on November 24th.
