This has been a long time coming, and FleaMarket Funk is proud to announce that we will be doing a set at the mighty Soulelujah in Boston on Saturday June 27th. This night has been going strong since 2003, and if you are a fan of funk, soul, R & B, or any other funky stuff specifically on the 45 format, this is the place to be on a Saturday night. With residents Claude Money, E. Dorsey, Ty Jesso, John Funke, The Brobots, and PJ Gray, plus guest selectors from Skeme Records to Breakbeat Lou to J-Zone Mr. Finewine, and more. It is the party to be on a Saturday night out in the Boston area. We are honored to be sharing the decks with these good people. What will we be bringing? Along with the funk and soul, we’ll be packing some latin heat as well as a few funky garage records in our Tucker and Bloom Rich Medina bag to keep things rocking throughout the night. So if funky little records with the big holes are your bag baby, get to the Middle East on the 27th and get down to the sounds of FleaMarket Funk as we dig deeper into our crates for your dancing pleasure. Any recommendations for a good burger and digging spots are always welcome. See you in a few weeks.
