FleaMarket Funk x Iris Records Valentines Day Bash Live Set

Iris VDay Bash 2This past Valentine’s Day weekend, Iris Records here in Jersey City had a bunch of DJs for their annual 45 only Valentine’s Day bash. I, along with Todd-O-Phonic Todd from WFMU, Dave Feldman from the band Wyldlife, Brian Shapiro, and Vin Shabbadoo laid down some eclectic forty five treats all day. They happened to record the event, and today, to start your weekend, I bring you my hour long set full of heavy funk and soul. a huge shout out to Terry Cole from Colemine Records who laced me with some of their newer 7″ releases that I dropped. There are some old classics, some newer future classics, as well as a grip of funky stuff for your listening enjoyment. I want to thank the Steves from Iris Records here in Jersey City for having me down, and for the people that came through to check out the tunes and the refreshments (you missed a spread if you weren’t there!)
