Sat. 8/20: Shake!

Tomorrow, August 20th at the fantastic Friends and Lovers in Brooklyn, Flea Market Funk’s DJ Prestige will be joined by the excellent digger and spot on disc jockey DJ Monk One for a night of funky 45s called Shake!. Known for his deep crates and eclectic taste world wide, Brooklyn’s own Monk One will bring his well known flavor to get you moving and grooving on the dance floor. We will have a variety of forty fives that have one thing in common: they are funky as hell. We are excited to start a new party in such a respected spot, and if you are in the area, please stop through. The summer is about to end, and we are hoping to bring this fiesta into the Fall to keep the vibe going. So before this hot summer season goes out, won’t you join us for a special night of music in Brooklyn? As Monk says: “Come vibrate on our frequency!” We hope to see some familiar faces out as well as make some new friends.
