9/15 Jersey City: All 45 RPM Funk Night At The Conduit

We are back again doing what we do, spreading the funk on 45 rpm records. This time, we get it in early at the newly formed space The Conduit, which is the sister space to Jersey City’s Club Transmission. We will be in the front, playing deep funk, jazz, original samples, and all kinds of other funky seven inches you can groove to tonight. We are sticking strictly to the funk. Greasy, gritty, heavy funk, wah wah guitars, scratchy vocals, heavy organ instrumentals and the like. Food will be served, the vibes will be flowing, and of course you can absolutely get your drink on if you so desire. We are just trying to spread the good gospel of Flea Market Funk and turn people on to records they might not have heard of, or maybe even want to get nostalgic about.
