The French Touch Connection come through this Monday morning with a blast of beats for your ears from French beat maker G.BONSON. Getting back to his vinyl roots, he dug deep into his crates to construct the music from the forth coming full length Away From The Flow, out on November 29th. Sampling everything from soul to progressive rock, if the full length is anything like the first offering, we are all in for quite a treat. The first single, “What’s Going On” is a synthy two step into the far reaches of the universe. Electronic bips and bleeps, echoes, heavy synths, and of course top notch drum beats are all over this first offering. The break down is definitely ill on this, as he dug deep into the prog rock to build it. Reminiscent of early DJ Shadow and some U.N.K.L.E. James Lavelle produced music, set your phasers to stun, because this one is a winner. While this may be your first encounter with this talented producer, he has a vast catalog of work, all which can be found here. We are all in for promoting great new music, and G.BONSON should be on your radar. Recommended if you like instrumental hip hop, break beats, and clean, chopped up samples of this sort.
