Tonight! NYC: Flea Market Funk x Pat Van Dyke

It’s Wednesday night already, and time to get funky in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York City. Every Wednesday night, pat Van Dyke and I double team with the funky vibes from the dining table to the dance floor over at Bar Belly. With Van Dyke’s deep bag of original and classic material, he surrounds himself with a rotating cast of some of the hottest players in NYC today. This week, his trio features Van Dyke on drums, Josh David Barrett (The Wailers) on bass, and Juan Rodrigues on keys. They will be performing live at 8pm, and then I will be taking over on the turntables from 9:30 until the wee hours. The party starts out earlier than the music, as Bar Belly has one of the best happy hours around: oysters, mulled wine, hot toddys, and an eclectic menu that is served until late.
