Funky Records On The Roof: Asbury Park Edition

We love a beach gig. We love a rooftop gig. We love it even better when we can combine the two. Flea Market Funk has joined forces with The Asbury Hotel in Asbury Park for Funk Fusion Sundays at Salvation on the roof of the hotel for a Sunday afternoon jaunt through some funky records and food. We will be supplying the beats. Everything from Brazilian, Reggae, Disco, quality Hip Hop and Latin to Soul, Afrobeat, R & B and more. Enjoy classics and future classics while ending your weekend off right. Last week was the first installment and it was a great crowd. The event will be every Sunday until the end of the Summer (weather permitting), so if you are in the area, stop by and have a cocktail and groove with us to the sounds of Summer and beyond. Hopefully it will also carry on to September, but for now we rock it until Summer’s end at the shore. We will have our man DJ Skills throughout who will be adding some extra flavor to the sets, so don’t miss out!
