One of the hardest working duos around, The Allergies are back with more of their uptempo, modern funk floor fillers to heat up your record box and get you moving. Coming out of the gate strong once again, the A “Can’t Keep Working This Hard” is a huge chunk of sister funk with just enough of that vintage sound combined with the tenacity of the lads make for another winner on the turntables and the dance floor. The flip sees The Allergies joining forces with frequent collaborator Andy Cooper, the recent king of the fast rap. Cooper might as well be in the band he has done so much work for them. It’s agreat dynamic, and the three have yet to make a bad track. This is a late ’80’s style hip hop banger with Cooper’s fast rhymes, on point production, plenty of right on time scratching, and a sound guaranteed to get them up rocking. All in all, we have another dope double sider from The Allergies. Piping hot beats served on hot wax, now it’s up to you to move.
