Mr. Bongo Presents Pride 45s

In an everlasting quest to get records that mean something into your hands, Mr. Bongo once again reaches deep into vinyl record history and reissues some sides from and important label. This time, they’ve taken the Pride record label and given the listener some very tasty choices on 45 rpm. The Pride label was a subsidiary of MGM records that launched in 1970 and had the push from Michael Viner, who worked along side people like Keg Johnson, Leon Sylvers III, and Jerry Butler to come up with their own, one of a kind soulful sound. They’ve put out some really great records over the years from Foster Sylvers, The Sylvers, The Incredible Bongo Band, Jimmy Smith and more. Mr. Bongo is bringing the listener some of these records and introducing this great label to a whole new generation of vinyl record collectors and appreciators of good music. The seven inches alongside long players and a variety of &” records and box sets are available as well. Bravo Mr. Bongo for putting this great record label back in the spotlight once again.
