Bobby Oroza – Lonely Girl b/w Alone Again

We can’t say enough about this artist today. Bobby Oroza has taken the soul music scene by storm, and with his last full length introduced authentic soul sounds to a whole new audience of humans hungry for his sound. So much, that Big Crown Records had to press up this seven inch to satisfy the throngs of fans who could not get enough from this artist’s This Love release. Oroza is destined for greatness, and in modern times is making music that has feeling, music that is as real as it gets. Following in the footsteps of label mate Lee Fields, he’s bringing real deal soul music to the forefront of the industry. Aiming at the DJs and collectors (but let’s face it, anyone should have this beautiful forty five), the two tracks are just what you need. The A, “Lonely Girl” is a tough soul dancer, upbeat and able to move dance floors for the soul parties throughout the world. From Helsinki to Oakland, this will be the anthem, we’re sure of it. Like the message the song croons, take a chance on Oroza, you won’t regret it. With production from Cold Diamond & Mink, their sound and Bobby’s voice are a match made in heaven. The flip, “Alone Again” is a signature Bobby Oroza ballad that is equally comforting in warm, sunny skies or dark, cold, falling snow filled landscapes. It’s what got him noticed, and if you don’t believe Oroza is for real, pay close attention to the lyrics. Grab your tissues while you’re at it. This slow burn of a ballad is true soul, and we can’t stress enough how the collaboration between Bobby and Cold Diamond & Mink are really one of the best in the soul game today. Listen to both sides below, and order from the Big Crown website after the stream. Two different sides of Bobby Oroza on one record, nothing better than that right at this moment.
