Aww yes, ain’t that fresh! Dusty Donuts coming correct with another batch of dope edits that will no doubt be rocking dance floors and accelerating the art of moving butts if you know what we mean. You see, the Dusty Donuts crew have a knack for taking classic tracks in their own right and combining them like the Wonder Twins for an even better double dose for your ears. This time, both sides don’t disappoint. Representing the Native Tongues and the West Coast respectively, here are the new batch of heaters. The Native Tongues are up first. The A side, “Just A Touch Of Faith (Naughty NMX x Marc Hype) gives you the best of that Bob James/ De La/ Slave edits for your ear hole. These two vinyl veterans know how to relick a track, so enjoy the A to the fullest. But we are not done. The flip, “Bonita In My Life” takes your fave RAMP + ATCQ and gets that booty shaking for an early dance floor track.
Moving nicely to the Left Coast (some say the best coast), “I Get Juiced” (Doc Flex & Naughty NMX Gangsta Mix) is as G Funk as it can get. Heavy synths and Raiders hats all around. This one will make a hardcore G glide across the dance floor. The flip, “How Do We Show”, is another straight G killer. More synths, more bounce, more silky R & B vocals. Two that hit hard once again.
