How do you like to start off your week? Do you like to get all down because it’s a Monday, or do you like to jump into the week with both feet forward ready to take on anything that comes at you? We’d like to think that we are the latter here at Flea Market Funk, that’s why were are giving you some high energy modern soul/ disco for the first workday of the week. DJ, Producer, and all-around top-notch music champion Cashbah 73 is back once again with a slick and sick single featuring Los Angeles vocalist Bart Davenport. Davenport has is part of the Lovemonk family and has really been adding sizzling flavor to records for years. His latest slice is “Sweet Maybe”, where Cashbah 73 and a live band get down like it’s the early ’80s with this hard as nails banger. It’s got all the elements of a dance floor mover, with elements of funk, disco, house, soul and beyond. From the first time we heard the track we felt like it will be one of the tops of 2020 for sure, rocking the disco tech and wherever people want to shake their ass. It’s dripping with sexiness, and for sure if you’re not moving to this, your temperature is not rising at all, so your please check your pulse because you might need a doctor. Is there a doctor in the house? We’ve got someone who is not holding on to the music and a whole dance floor of people that are overheating! Casbah is not done, as there is a Synthstrumental on the flip as well as a really Oh Honey! digital remix. This one is a winner for sure.
