Keeping in his funky tradition, Kevin Fingier and his Collective release a first in the World Got Soul Series; a banger of a 45 and he brings vocalist Josi Dias along for this heavenly South American ride. Guess what? You’re Invited too.

Dias, Brazilian born and based out of Argentina jumps on the first of hopefully many records with two sides of Brazilian funk, soul, and Jazz on this subsidiary label. Dias has been wowing crowds at the highest level in the most prestigious jazz clubs in Buenos Aires with Samba and Bossa Nova sounds. The link up between Finger and Dias is strong, as evident in both sides of this seven. “Um Brilho Novo”, super heavy Brazilian funk as Finger and company hit hard with Dias riffing her sweet melodies on top. Soulful, yet oh so funky, we’re really excited to see this one off and running. The flip, “Rua Nova Barão” is a fantastic jazz samba dance piece. Just beautiful.
