Sam Redmore(feat. Andrea Brown): Just Be Good To Me

Here’s one that you should have in your record box (that’s if you can get your hands on it). DJ and remixer Sam Redmore has some more heat coming out of the City of Birmingham and we absolutely love it. Check out his take on an electro classic this morning.

Sam’s already been championed by people like Gilles Peterson, Craig Charles, Quantic, The Nextmen, Danny Krivit, and more (as well as this site). This latest release is one that will raise eyebrows and open ears and get the dance floor burning as only Sam can. This time, he takes one of his favorite tracks, The SOS Band’s “Just Be Good To Me” and covers it with vocalist Andrea Brown. We’re all familiar with the original, its electro feel has been rocking floors and making people dance since it dropped. This time around, Sam takes this classic to new heights as he gives it a spiced-up cumbia version that’s sure to set fire to dance floors everywhere! It’s a new twist on an old classic and of course, we’re bringing it to you here on Flea Market Funk. Listen below and let us know what you think! We think it’s an absolute stunner. At the moment, it’s sold out on Sam’s bandcamp, but Juno has it listed, so grab the Jalapeno released fireball from them after the stream. Top tier Sam Redmore, keep them coming.
