This month, check out ten records we’ve picked out for your listening pleasure over at the Big Crown Records BCRs 10: August ’22 playlist on their Spotify. If you have been living under a rock and really just finding out about the mighty Big Crown, welcome on in, you’re in for a treat. BCR has been at it for quite some time, blazing trails with the former Truth and Soul record label as well as BCR as well. With artists like El Miches Affair, Liam Baily, Brainstory, Lady Wray, Bobby Orozo, and more, they’ve carved out their own special lane and keep churning out dope music.

It’s an honor to be asked to contribute to their long running series on Spotify. I chose ten records that I have been feeling lately. Some were reviewed on Flea Market Funk, others were dug up in the field, but all in all I hope you enjoy the selection I’ve put out there for you.
